What do you love most about working at Honest?

I was impressed with how much Honest gives back as a company: The ongoing partnership with Baby2Baby, donation matching for the charity of my choice, a plethora of company-sponsored volunteer events to join...the list goes on and on. It feels great to be a part of a company that really cares about giving back to the community. I've said to myself many times in the past that I need to volunteer more, so now I have no excuses and I love it!

What is your favorite product?

Although I love all of our products, I have to say the conditioner is my favorite. I put my hair through a lot of stress with color treatments and using a straightening iron almost every day, so I didn't think that a product without harsh chemicals would work well on my hair. I was wrong! My hair feels so soft and healthy after using our conditioner, AND it smells amazing!

What is your most memorable Honest moment?

As a fairly new employee, the most memorable moment was the phone call I received telling me that I had been hired for this position. I remember jumping around and silently squealing for joy as I tried to remain confident and professional over the phone.

How do you embrace the Honest lifestyle at home?

Besides replacing all of my bath and cleaning supplies with Honest goodies? Since joining Honest, I'm a lot more conscious about what I put into my body by reading labels and buying organic as much as possible. I also live by the motto that little things all add up. The "little" things are reusing my water cup instead of grabbing a new one, using my utensils instead of asking for plastic ones when ordering take-out, turning off the water when I'm brushing my teeth... Basically, I try not to take more than what I need. I'm also obsessed with being on my bike, so instead of driving, I'll ride my bike to run errands whenever possible.

If you weren't at work, what would you be doing?

Aside from being a huge email nerd, I'm also a singer / songwriter, so I would be working on new projects and writing new songs. Other than that, I'd be out in nature, rock climbing, hiking, beaching, snowboarding. My dad was a huge mountaineer, so I have that embedded in me. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I'd also be playing this totally addicting game called Awesomenauts. I blame my boyfriend for this one. He's a video game fanatic and finally found a game that we could play together and "bond" over. Nice tactic to get away with playing video games for hours without having to hear your girlfriend nag you about it!
